Taiwan bike shops

Here I go again, in Taiwan for holiday. Thanks to budget airline, the ticket price is cheap and too hard to resist. 

Taiwan has many parks and beaches where they have well established cycling network. It would be nice to include cycling into my itenarary, but the weather in December is not exactly cycling friendly due to the frequent rain. So I sticked to the agenda of food, scenic places and a few bike shops.

What's in store: This bike shop is run by a few young bike enthusiasts. Ask them questions and they will be kind and patient to explain to you. It stocks road bikes components and other gears like cycling jerseys, lights, bags etc. Good thing is that they actually offered me discount on top of the retail price. However, the items selection is not huge. 

Opening hrs: Mon to Sat 13:30~23:00hr, Sun 12:00~20:00hr
To reach there: 
1) take a metro to Guting station, follow the direction on the map. Walk about 480m for 7mins
2) take a bus to 和平西路一段. The buses are 243, 670, 706, 907, 
214, 214直達車, 241, 907, 內科通勤2, 內科通勤3, 和平幹線

What's in store: This bike shop has a wide range of bike components, both for road bikes and also foldable bikes. There are some Taiwan brands that cannot be found in Singapore, and are very reasonably priced. Also you can find bargains for MKS pedals, jerseys, saddles. However, they didnt offer further discount when I made my purchase. Its worth a visit to this place to check out the variety of parts but do research the price. Some items are cheaper substantially while others may be marginal.

take a metro to Nanjing East road station, follow the direction on the map. Walk about 350m for 5mins
